DESIGNED FOR THE ALPINE ADVENTURES IN EXTREME WINTER CONDITIONS

POW 16 comes equipped with a CE-Certified full back protector (Lev.1) by SAS-TEC, that’s made of flexible viscoelastic foam with memory effect that returns to its original shape after impact or deformation.

HYDRATION-TECH MADE FOR APLINE CONDITIONS

The pack has room for 16L of storage and can fit up to a 3L hydration bladder (not included), so you can pack the essentials for your adventure while remaining light weight.

Hate it when your water freezes? We sure do. That’s why we’ve integrated the Thermo Cell insulation pocket on the shoulder straps that encapsulates the heat from physical activity to protect the drink tube from freezing even in the most extreme winter conditions. These pockets are also perfect for storing snacks. The Thermo Cell technology requires that you produce body heat, that you’re using layers of clothes that’re breathable, and that you keep the zippers to the insulated pocket closed while in action.

CARRY YOUR STUFF

At the back there’s a quick access Avalanche Equipment pocket, where you can store your safety gear. There’s also an external helmet carry system, a snowboard carry system, and the ski carry system on the side. The waist belt got two quick access pockets and the pack got a google pocket where you can also safely store your precious goggles. We even threw in a microfiber cleaner tissue... we thought of everything! If you want a slim profile, you can tuck everything together with the outside compression system.

 

 

Thermo Cell Technology

Thermo Cell is equipped with a multilayer insulation cover that reflects the heat on the inside and shields from the cold and wind from the outside. By its design, the Thermo Cell closes tightly to the body and a thin mesh membrane permits maximum body heat to pass through. Used in this way the body heat feeds the Thermo Cell with thermal energy. Smart!

Thermo Cell encapsulates heat from physical activity in an insulating air pocket that protects the tube and bite valve from freezing even in the most extreme winter conditions. Therefore, we have chosen to provide both shoulder straps on the NORDIC, HAJKER, POW and BRANT backpacks with Thermo Cell so that you get the option of choosing which side you want to have the tube in tube, or having tubes on both sides (double hydration bladders). Or optional, why not store gels and bars that you easily reach on-the-go in the pocket you don't use.

Tubes are shipped brand new, and unless there was visible shipping damage, what you're describing sounds a lot like a pinch flat during installation. We've all done it. Motorcycle tubes can get pinched between the tire and rim during mounting, and sometimes they don't show themselves until inflation. For the next install, we recommend using a little baby powder or soapy water and taking extra care with the tire spoons. That goes a long way toward preventing pinches.

I ordered 2 different items. The first item which was oil delivered within 2 days. Very fast. I was pleased with this. I was hoping the handlebars I ordered would also arrive. Live the Gnar said it was shipping seperate. As of now its been 7days since I placed the order. I reached out via email. Someone responded saying they would look at order and tracking. Its been 2 days and no one has responded. I bought the handlebars as a gift for someone. Definitely would've thought I would've received them or at least received a response from Live the Gnar. This sucks. Either way, I'll just order from another vendor from now on.

Oil also has to be packaged separately for shipping reasons. The tracking for the bars was emailed directly to you, and they were already on the way when this review was posted.
