Talaria Stings OEM design for the breather leaves an open hose mounted next to the rear shock. If you've ever ridden a Sur Ron or other E-Bike, this is the least ideal place for an open line. Mud, dirt, and water spray, from your tire, will likely be able to enter your, gear case and compromise longevity.

The GritShift R&D team has designed a simple and efficient solution to prevent contamination by adding a Billet Aluminum breather box. This breather box features a capped system with an o ring for an airtight seal and easy to access for cleaning. Internal baffles are cut to prevent contamination from entering the reservoir. Yes the big open section acts as a reservoir for when you lay your bike on its side or fall.

This is a free flow design from the second you get onto your bike your gearbox will start generating heat which will cause expansion in the gearbox. This breather box will prevent pressure build up causing your gearbox seals to fail. It also allows your gearbox to breath fresh air in as it contracts from cooling down when parked or going through water. Do not use a one way check valve, as this will allow fluid to leak out still. And it will also not allow cool air to enter your gearbox when it cools down which will cause air to enter from other locations like the case itself which can compromise your case seal resulting in a gearbox case leak.

NOTE: Do not use one way check valves one your bikes gearbox. IT WILL CAUSE FAILURE IN YOUR GEARBOX SEAL.

Tubes are shipped brand new, and unless there was visible shipping damage, what you're describing sounds a lot like a pinch flat during installation. We've all done it. Motorcycle tubes can get pinched between the tire and rim during mounting, and sometimes they don't show themselves until inflation. For the next install, we recommend using a little baby powder or soapy water and taking extra care with the tire spoons. That goes a long way toward preventing pinches.
