The Tech-Air® Off-Road System is a fully self-contained, autonomous airbag protection system designed specifically for motocross, enduro, rally, and dual-sport riding. Developed using real-world racing data collected since 2016 from elite athletes competing in MXGP, Pro Motocross, and the Dakar Rally, it delivers advanced, race-proven upper-body protection for the most demanding off-road environments.
The system uses a six-axis motion sensor setup (triaxial accelerometer and gyroscope) that continuously monitors rider movement every millisecond. In the event of a crash, the airbag deploys in approximately 40 milliseconds, providing full coverage to the chest, shoulders, back, and collarbone areas. Once activated, the airbag deflates within 4–5 seconds, allowing the rider to quickly recover or continue riding if conditions allow.
Tech-Air® Off-Road offers multiple intelligent riding modes tailored to different terrain and riding styles:

MX Mode – standard motocross track riding (default setting)

MX Race Mode – reduced sensitivity for pro-level aggressive riding

Enduro Mode – optimized for low-to-medium speed trail, woods, and dual-sport riding

Rally Mode – high-speed algorithm designed for Dakar-style and desert racing conditions

The system integrates CE Level 1 passive chest and back protection within a lightweight, breathable chassis made from mesh and foam-backed materials for comfort and airflow. TPU reinforcements add durability in high-wear areas, while integrated passive protection ensures continuous coverage even when the airbag is not deployed.
Operation is fully automatic: the system powers on and performs diagnostics when the left side strap is secured. A built-in LED display indicates system status, battery level, and active riding mode. Users can switch modes via the control panel or Tech-Air App. The USB-C rechargeable battery provides up to 30 hours of active riding time, and the system enters standby after 15 minutes of inactivity to conserve power.
Designed for simplicity and safety, the Tech-Air Off-Road System is rated for multiple deployments using replaceable CO₂ cartridges and is built to be serviceable in the field where regulations allow. It is not compatible with neck braces or additional external armor systems due to its integrated protection design.
