Big Bear MX Grand Prix 2025: Event Overview

Get ready—Big Bear Lake is going full-throttle with its inaugural MX Grand Prix, August 21–24, 2025. Dirt bikes on ski runs. Jumps, berms, elevation, and insane views. Whether you're racing or spectating, here’s everything you need to know.

Event Essentials

What’s Happening

The Big Bear MX Grand Prix by O’NEAL is the result of six years of planning between Swapmoto Race Series, motocross promoters, and the Big Bear Mountain Resort crew. This one-off event is set to make history August 21–24, 2025, turning the bottom section of Bear Mountain into a full-throttle motocross battleground. Classes are stacked for all ages and skill levels—riders as young as 5 years old, vets 60+, and everything in between, including pro-level competition. The track itself is designed to push limits, combining the natural elevation of Bear Mountain with ski runs, fire roads, jumps, and berms. It’s a layout built to blend classic motocross roots with a unique mountain course.
